Wild Edibles & Medicinals©

Wild medicinals are abundant along the edge of our ponds and fields.Nature provides each environment with an abundance of wild edible and medicinal plants. Kneel beside the headwaters of a river, wade along the edge of a pond, glance upward through the canopy of an evolving forest and gaze across green fields to the mountains. Stream, pond, forest, desert and field each offers its own set of healing agents for body and soul.

During this program you'll learn to identify, harvest and prepare nature's natural healers.

Topics include:

  • A common plant that stops bleeding
  • Natural salve that prevents infection
  • A five-second poultice to treat bee stings
  • A leaf that treats pain
  • A seed for warts
